The goal of obesity is to lose your weight to stay at a healthy weight. You may communicate with health professionals, nutritionist, dietitian, therapist or an obesity specialist, who can help you understand and make changes eating and activity habits.

Due to fast pace we do not want to have a balanced diet, and we consume some junk foods such pizza, pasta, sandwich etc. Continuous consumption of these junk foods leads to obesity. I am requesting please keep a initial goal a modest weight loss (6 to 10% of your total weight). That means that if you have 200 pounds (91 kg) then as per BMI standards,  please try lose only about 5 to 10 pounds (3.5 to 7.5kg). If you can do this then you can see the benefits.

Please try to change your eating habits and increase physical activity. How much body weight you need to lose will be determined by your grade of obesity. Here some weight loss tips include:

  1. Dietary changes
  2. Exercise and activity
  3. Behavior change
  4. Prescription weight-loss medications
