Water–  we have heard it to have several benefits. But did you know that one of its interesting advantages is that it helps lose weight? Many people do not know this that’s why they prefer sweetened drinks, alcohol, soft drinks than water to quench their thirst. Yet these alternative beverages, especially soft drinks and alcohol only add up calories to your body.

Water, on the other hand, is calorie-free. It also aids in cleansing out the toxins from your body, maintain sugar level to a healthy degree and keeps your skin hydrated. Further, when it is drank cold, your body will exert more effort to warm it up to be used by the body, hence burning extra body calories in the process. Indeed, water not only helps your body to function well, but also helps you to be physically fit.
